- A basic knowledge and practice of yoga postures and philosophy would be helpful however not mandatory. An open heart with self-motivation for learning would help achieve the objective of the course.

All the sessions during the course are taught in English.
At Yogvit you will be provided with all of the necessary study materials and learning aids.
To make the best out of the programme, participants are required and advised to attend all asana & pranayama classes, lectures, spiritual activities and meditation sessions.
Students are kindly requested not to engage in any other activities during course time. However , there are no lectures on Sundays and during the course students do have few breaks and advised to keep that time for self.
At Yogvit Yogshala we have yoga mats; however a new mats can also be purchased in the store nearby.
Yes, you do need visa if international travel rules and regulations require you to have a visa for the travel into India. Kindly Google for details of your local Indian Embassy website. A ‘Tourist Visa’ is easy to get.
We suggest you to travel light and purchase necessities here which are easily available in local market nearby. However it is advised to bring the following during your visit.

Rishikesh is in close proximity of Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport , a small, quiet and recently renovated airport. Jolly Grant Airport is well connected to Delhi with daily flights, probably the best way to reach. Yogvit Yogshala Yoga Teacher Training Centre from the airport is 35 minutes drive. By Road:
Delhi airport to Rishikesh by car is also an option. It’s a 6 to 7 hours journey depending on traffic. You can book a cab at Delhi airport prepaid taxi counter.

The Arambol Beach is a pristine and secluded beach in the North Goa and can be approached by a winding road through the groove of cashew trees. By Road:
Reach to Chandigarh airport and then travel by taxi or by bus. It is an approx 7 hours journey.
